I got answers from my conversation with Jacinda Ardern. And I got questions, too
The first time I interviewed a female national leader, I noticed something intriguing. My subject was Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the former president of Liberia. Since Liberia is a very specific country with a totally unique history, I thought my observation about her legacy was a one-off.
But now I’ve interviewed five female leaders, and I’m realising it’s actually a trend. This week I sat down with Jacinda Ardern, the former New Zealand Prime Minister, which confirmed it.
